Community Rules
Last updated: 5 June 2026
Properly Met is designed to help people make genuine connections. Please treat others as you would hope to be treated yourself.
These rules help keep Properly Met safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.
Be respectful
Treat others with kindness and respect. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, hate speech, threats, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
Be genuine
Use your real photos and represent yourself honestly. Fake profiles, impersonation, catfishing, or intentionally misleading information may result in account removal.
Respect privacy
Do not share, screenshot, repost, or distribute profiles, photos, conversations, or personal information without the person's permission.
No spam or unsolicited promotion
Properly Met is for connecting with people, not advertising products, services, events, or social media accounts. Automated outreach and mass messaging are not allowed.
Keep it appropriate
Do not post sexually explicit content, nudity, offensive material, or anything illegal. Everyone should feel comfortable using the platform.
Respect boundaries
Not everyone will be interested, and that's okay. If someone declines contact or stops responding, respect their decision and move on.
Stay safe
Never pressure anyone into sharing personal information, money, gifts, financial details, or meeting arrangements they are not comfortable with.
Report concerns
If you encounter suspicious behaviour, fake profiles, harassment, or anything that makes you feel unsafe, please report it so we can investigate.
We reserve the right to act
Accounts that violate these rules may be restricted, suspended, or removed without notice.
